Reactions And Tracking

The intention of this bot is to help train your ability to update your mental state based on conditions of your opponent’s offense or character.

JamieBot does not mimic any particular Jamie player style, since the character is so variable. Instead, we focused on building the bot in a way that will cause it to use most of his tools at the right timings and spacings. The bot is somewhat difficult to input, but does not perform very poorly if its Actions are not input perfectly. Jamie’s options change according to his ‘drink’ level, so the bot has both options for when and how it activates this move. Generally, it will attempt to drink in ‘neutral’ rather than ending the combo that leads to it, and this happens even moreso if the inputs are not perfect.

Jamie’s inputs are generally simple, but can be difficult in terms of precision and speed, for the bot to be very good. We suggest retrying and improving the inputs as you get better at the game and your execution improves, if you are not an experienced fighting game player.

Gauge Settings

As with all bots Vitality Gauge P1 should be set to “100%”, and Vitality Recovery Settings P1 should be set to “Standard”. Drive Gauge P1 should be set to “6”, and Drive Gauge Recovery Settings P1 should be set to “Standard”. SA Gauge P1 should be set to “2” (or “3” if you need it for your combo practice), and SA Gauge Recovery Settings P1 should be set to “Standard”.

Vitality Gauge P2 should be set to “100%”, and Vitality Recovery Settings P2 should be set to “Refill”. Drive Gauge P2 should be set to “6”, and Drive Gauge Recovery Settings P2 should be set to ‘40F’ (Access this option by pressing the appropriate button -Triangle on Playstation- when on the Drive Gauge Recovery Settings P2 ‘Refill’ option). SA Gauge P2 should be set to “0”, and SA Gauge Recovery Settings P2 should be set to “Standard”.
