Chun-LiBot v1.0

Difficulty Advanced

Focus Putting It All Together II

Firstly, the player should be aware that Chun-LiBot is possibly the most difficult to enter of all bots by a wide margin. We strongly suggest that unless you need very specific help in this matchup, or can clear Chun-Li's Vol. 2 Trials in the Challenges menu, that you do not use this bot. Chun-Li has a low usage rate in online play anyway. However if you are comfortable against all other bots, and very confident in your ability to execute very complex inputs, treat this as a standard bot. Explanations for what to do will however be given from the perspective of explaining to someone who already knows how to execute Chun-Li's relatively advanced skills/techniques. The overall purpose of the bot is similar to the BirdieBot, to make the player use all their awareness and skills from other bots, all at once. For a few characters, this is not necessary, but for most, it is the only way to consistently win.

Gauge Settings

As with all bots, 1P Health should be set to "Normal". Set 1P CA Gauge to "Normal", and 1P V-Gauge to "Normal".

Settings for 2P are Health - "Auto-Recover", V-Gauge - "Auto-Recover", CA Gauge - "Auto-Recover".

Goals

Completing each action gives 1 point. Try to get to 10 points without dying.

Points System

Difficulty Levels

Action #1

Perfect

4HP, hidden [6HK] 66 (dash), 5LP+MP (hold until end), 2 (hold until end also), end recording when opponent is reeling from the MP, after the 'hit-spark'.

Acceptable

4/5HP, 66 (dash), 5LP+MP (hold until end), end recording while opponent is reeling.

In perfect form, this action should be able to transition into action #2 and create the 5MP 2MK xx EX Hyakuretsukyaku combo. To learn the correct timing to end the action, practice 5MP 2MK xx 236HK+LK.

Action #2

Perfect

2MP+MK, hidden [236LK+HK], 2MK, 2MK, 2MK, 1, when she lands, end recording.

Acceptable

2MP+MK, hidden [236LK+HK], 1, when she lands, end recording.

In the perfect form, this action should result in a V-Skill into triple headstomp.

In the perfect form, the MP of this action will be negated when transitioning from action #1. In this case, the 2MK should be timed to cancel into the EX Hyakuretsukyaku.

Action #3

Perfect

MK-Version Instant Air Hyakuretsukyaku (Lightning Legs, 236963MK) ending in holding 3, hidden [3LK, 3LK, 3LK], 3LK, 3LK-hold, or tap and then hold (this will become LK Hyakuretsukyaku if other LK are timed right), end recording while holding 3LK.

Acceptable

MK-Version Instant Air Hyakuretsukyaku (Lightning Legs, 23696[3?]MK), hidden [2LK repeatedly until no longer hidden], (will become LK Hyakuretsukyaku), end recording while holding a crouch input.

Ideally this action should provide a down charge for EX Spinning Bird Kick from action #5.

Action #4

Perfect

From far away, 5LP+LK, hidden [6MP], 3HK OR 5HP OR 2/3HP, plinked into 3HP+HK, hold 3 until end, wait until almost landing from 3HK or if in V-Trigger until the end of the activation animation, end recording.

Acceptable

From far away, 5LP+LK, hidden [6MP], 3HP+HK, hold 3 until end, wait until almost landing from 3HK or if in V-Trigger until the end of the activation animation, end recording.

Action #5

Hold 1 for a short time, 12369LP+LK+HK, hold 1 until she switches legs and says "Omake yo!" if you are using the JP voice, end recording.

When recording this action, if you use the DualShock 4 controller, consider binding your Throw button and your HK button to two face buttons, to simplify inputting all three buttons one one frame.

This input is an Option Select that will execute EX Hyakuretsukyaku without charge, EX Spinning Bird Kick with appropriate charge, or tech a throw. It is important to get the initial 1 input right so that the charge can edge-shift in from other actions.

When you record this action you should get EX Hyakuretsukyaku. When you play this action back alongside action #2 you should get EX Spinning Bird Kick.
